This award celebrates those construction leaders who have contributed to industry advancement and innovation through entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, research, and community engagement. Tannis has worked in the construction industry for 20 years. She started her career in the trades, where she learned firsthand the challenges faced with lagging digital adoption. Tannis has dedicated a substantial portion of her career to developing and deploying industry solutions and processes that empower teams to build better, leveraging project data to make better decisions in real-time. Tannis is a subject matter expert in Advanced Work Packaging, BIM, and lean methodologies; she serves in industry committees and research teams, regularly speaks at industry events, and guest lectures on construction best practices and digitization at colleges and universities.
